Bankers Brighton

Bankers Brighton är en restaurang på 116A Western Rd, Brighton i Brighton.

Located on the corner of a busy Brighton street, Bankers is a traditional British fish and chips place with more of a restaurant feel to it than your classic takeaway joint.

Behind a grand whitewashed façade with big windows you'll find a simple if welcoming dining area furnished with wooden floors and tables, with black-and-white photos of the city adding  a touch of nostalgic charm. The venue is spacious and can easily accommodate bigger groups, for example families and friends.

As you might expect, the menu at this award-winning chippy revolves mainly around that timeless British favourite, fish and chips. Different fish are available to choose from, prepared to your liking – battered, grilled, or cooked in breadcrumbs or matzo meal – with a choice of chips to go with them. There are even free chip refills with all mains for those with a real hunger. 

In addition to the fish and chips, the restaurant also serves various other seafood, spit-roasted chicken, burgers, and freshly prepared salads, as well as indulgent desserts like apple pie or homemade trifle. The drinks list includes everything from local craft beer and wines to milkshakes and hot drinks.
