Azteca Öme

Azteca Öme är en bar och restaurang på 5-9 Battersea Rise, Battersea i London.

Azteca has been part of London's food scene since the mid-90s, and Azteca Öme is its newer, more experimental sibling in Battersea. It's a big, flexible space with a cantina-style restaurant, an outdoor veranda, a late-night bar and a couple of private dining rooms, so it works for everything from dinner to drinks. The food combines Mexican flavours with Japanese techniques, which sounds wild but really works – think miso cod tacos, bream tiradito, and grilled Cornish mackerel with jalapeño miso. There are DJs most nights too, giving the whole place a lively, after-dark feel.
