It’s located on Old Church Street, recognisable from its brightly painted facade and is known for its legendary parties. The club is owned by its members and operated on their behalf, with a shared passionate belief about the importance of living creatively. Once inside, mobile phones are banned from the premises, and there’s no dress code. There’s also a rule that two-thirds of the members at Chelsea Arts Club have to be practising artists, like writers, dancers, musicians, sculptors, painters and so on.
