Launched by a team with serious credentials, including stints at Tayer + Elementary, FlipDog adopts a similar approach when it comes to the venue itself, splitting its cocktail list across the ground floor and basement areas. It distinguishes itself by using the loggerhead method when preparing the drinks, plunging a red-hot iron poker in to boost flavour – and, incidentally, provide a pretty attention-grabbing USP.
