A stylish upmarket Greek restaurant in Fitzrovia, Meraki is the work of the Waneys, a family of successful restaurateurs in London. Using ingredients sourced from Greece, the restaurant serves authentic specialities, combined with a lively night-time atmosphere and craft cocktails at its bar.

Having found acclaim with restaurants such as Zuma, Roka and La Petite Maison, the Waney family turned its attention to Greek cuisine and launched Meraki in the heart of Fitzrovia. Lined by exposed brick, the tasteful restaurant is nonetheless a bright affair thanks to its floor-to-ceiling windows and plentiful lighting. In hot weather, you can take advantage of the sun-drenched terrace to feel like you’re holidaying in Greece. You can also sit at the counter and watch the chefs hard at work, or hire the lower ground floor for a private event.

Inspired by traditional Greek hospitality and taking advantage of authentic ingredients, the menu at Meraki includes a variety of popular staples from the Mediterranean country. You can start your meal with some taramasalata or tzatziki spreads and pita bread, before continuing to mains such as beef fillet kebab with a harissa glaze, grilled fish or Greek pasta dishes. Treat yourself to a bougatsa phyllo pastry pie to round things off, and don’t forget to complement your meal with one of the signature Greek God cocktails mixed up by the bartenders.

Speaking of bartenders, Meraki is accompanied by a separate bar and lounge, where you can drink and dine before hitting the dancefloor. The venue also hosts different events, from DJs and live music to art exhibits, all contributing to the vibrant atmosphere.
