Lillywhites was founded as a family-run sporting goods store in the second half of the 19th century, but became part of the Sports Direct family when it fell into financial difficulties at the turn of the millennium. It remains one of the top sports retailers in the country, with its flagship Piccadilly Circus store spanning five floors of a grand building and offering a wide range of affordable sports footwear, casual clothing, outerwear, football kits and equipment, and other accessories, manufactured by leading global brands.
