There’s nothing quite like Tessa Metcalfe’s jewellery. You can forget classic diamond-encrusted engagement rings; it’s all about the humble pigeon claw here. Tessa’s work is influenced by dark humour, and much of her collection is cast from the city’s roadkill.

All of her work is inspired by the hidden beauty of nature in London, and much of it is crafted with 180-carat silver and gold and then adorned with colourful gemstones to give it an iridescent glow. Everything is intricately designed and celebrates the irony of the luxury objects she creates: diamond rings shaped like pigeon claws.
