Café Pier is a tiny cafe in an old bright green cabmen's shelter – shelters that were constructed in the 1800s to provide carriage drivers with a refuge where they could get a hot meal and a cup of tea. It looks out over Albert Bridge and serves a range of takeaway sandwiches, freshly baked fluffy focaccia, and breakfast pastries.
