Java Whiskers Cat Café White City är ett café på White City, Ariel Way, Hammersmith and Fulham i London.

Java Whiskers is a Swedish-founded cat café in Marylebone and White City in London, where the mission is to support the well-being of both cats and humans under one roof. It's scientifically proven that spending time with our furry four-legged friends benefits mental health, so Java Whiskers offers a unique space where you can relax with a hot drink and sweet treat while interacting and playing with a handful of the café's lovely resident felines.

Inspired by cat cafés abroad, the owners noticed a gap in the market in Sweden and decided to open their first café in Stockholm. The concept quickly proved popular, demonstrating a demand among cat lovers for a dedicated space to spend time with felines and help rehome those in need. Following their success in Sweden, they expanded, opening new locations in Marylebone and White City.

Since then, they've fostered over 800 cats, working hand-in-hand with local shelters and providing a space where they typically spend about two to three months until they find their forever homes. In fact, there is often a waiting list of eager adopters, and the shelters receive even more inquiries about their resident cats. It's a win-win, providing visibility for the cats and shelters, and a relaxing, wholesome experience for everyone who visits.

The café is divided into two rooms: the Cat Lounge and the Kitten Lounge, serving as temporary homes for cats that haven't found their own permanent homes yet. This gives you the opportunity to bond with them and even apply to adopt one for yourself. 

At the front of the café, separate from the cat and kitten areas, you can buy a range of food and drinks. There's a selection of sweet and savoury treats, including flaky almond croissants, coffee with cat whisker latte art, and red velvet cake. You can also book an Afternoon Tea experience, including entry to the Cat Lounge, where you can spend time with the cats, as well as a selection of cakes, scones with jam and cream, delicate finger sandwiches, and a drink. If you prefer not to eat or drink, you can simply book slots to spend time with the cats or kittens.
