Antonio Banderas, the Beckhams, Maria Sharapova, John Scales, Lindsay Davenport, Andre Agassi – the list of Maison St Cassien's famous patrons goes on and on, as do the autographed photos on the walls of this elegantly simple restaurant. It almost seems like if you're in town for the big tournament, a bite here is as essential as a sun hat (unless Rafael Nadal has dragged you off to his favourite London spot, that is). 

Maison St Cassien's success and popularity are not simply due to its location, however. The independent restaurant instead relies on friendly staff ensuring a warm, sociable atmosphere while the kitchen prepares the all-day menu of Mediterranean and Lebanese delicacies. You can start your day with classic breakfast egg dishes, bagels or pastries, or grab one of the aforementioned sandwiches when lunchtime rolls around.

Furthermore, a range of mains from around the Mediterranean is served until the early evening, with options ranging from pasta and oven-baked lasagne to shawarmas, moussaka and salads. Alternatively, pick and choose your way through the mezze menu, featuring classic favs such as different kinds of hummus, falafel, sujuk sausages, spicy potatoes and more, and a traditional baklava to round things off. Best of all, the prices don't reflect the upmarket clientele at all.
