Postman's Park is a public garden near to St Paul's Cathedral. Opened in 1880 in a former churchyard, its name comes from its proximity to the site of the former HQ of the General Post Office. It's a peaceful space for a walk but what makes it more poignant is the Watts' Memorial to Heroic Self-Sacrifice, which immortalises ordinary people who died whilst saving the lives of others.

Beautiful and peaceful little garden. It feels like a good space to sit quietly and reflect, you could very easily forget you’re in central London when you’re here
