Jiāonest

Jiāonest är en restaurang på 230 Kingsland Rd, Shoreditch i London.

Born out of a nostalgic longing for the comforts of home and forged through regular supper clubs, Jiāonest is a snug Haggerston restaurant that's not for the faint of tongue. The Chinese restaurant specialises in the spicy cuisine characteristic of Chongqing, with classic dishes such as mapo tofu, gōng bǎo fried chicken, and deep-fried duck duck rice toast. A curated wine list helps put out the fires. The venue was designed in collaboration with up-and-coming London artists and features bespoke furniture and ceramics.
