Kottu House

Kottu House är en restaurang på Unit 9A, Queens Yard, Queen's Yard, White Post Ln, Tower Hamlets i London.

Kottu House can be found inside Howling Hops Tank Bar and Brewery and is a street food venture by 'co-owner and mad scientist/chef' Chelaka Gunamuni, who once served the same food in New York City. They plate up boxes of fragrant kottu, a Sri Lankan dish made with chopped flatbread mixed and smashed with meat, vegetables and aromatic spices, from their cosy kitchen inside the bar. Alongside this Sri Lankan favourite, you can also try Asian sandwiches, stuffed parathas and short eats like mutton rolls and spicy devilled wings. There's also a small selection of salads. It's all best washed down with a Howling Hops pint brewed on-site.
