Shankeys Hackney är en restaurang på 221 Well St, Hackney i London.
After a successful pop-up in in 2022, Shankeys opened permanently at a new site in Well Street. They serve Indian and Irish fusion food, with dishes like chaat potatoes with coconut pilau and honey curry sauce, Cornish crab and tarragon omelette with sour mango pickle, and salt marsh lamb leg with cumin and bone marrow broth. Dishes are inspired by the owner's childhood and made with secret family recipes. There's a drinks menu of Irish booze and quality wines. It's a small and minimalist spot.

I think this will always be my favourite restaurant ever. The food is always so good and the guys that work there are super nice! Been going since they were a small pop-up and won’t be stopping anytime soon. Indian / Irish influences - super creative and so tasty.
