The Princess of Wales is a traditional Victorian pub on the edge of Blackheath boasting a bright conservatory, as well as one of the oldest barbacks in the UK. Renovated in 2022 but dating back to the 19th century, the historic pub also has strong ties to rugby, having served as the changing room for England's first international with Wales. It has nurtured this legacy to this day, screening rugby matches and maintaining a small collection of mementoes.
