Declared the number 1 club in the world, not just London, by DJ Mag in 2006 and 2008, further proof that Fabric has transcended being merely a club came in 2016, when it faced closure due to having its licence revoked. The threat sparked outrage all over the world, with fans and performers alike coming together in emotional tributes, petition signatures and grassroots funding to help the beloved venue.
