Cantinera

An evolution of Codillos, which had previously popped up in Brighton and Brockley, Cantinera showcases co-founder Celia's twofold heritage. Part Mexican cantina, part Spanish tapas bar, the walk-in Brockley restaurant serves a weekly changing menu combining highlights from both sides of the ocean, for example tostadas with wild garlic pipian, heritage beef tomatoes, and grilled asparagus. As it's currently unlicensed, you're welcome to bring your own drinks, subject to corkage.
