A renowned West End theatre, the Apollo Victoria Theatre is the permanent home of Wicked, one of the most successful musicals in history.

Located opposite Victoria Station, the Apollo Victoria Theatre was originally established in 1930 as a cinema. Fifty-one years later, it was reopened as a theatre, retaining the celebrated Art Deco interior design, which has been likened to a fairy cavern under the sea. The vast historic theatre and its stunning lighting soon became one of the leading venues in the West End.

During its decades of operation, the Apollo Victoria Theatre has hosted world-famous musicals such as The Sound of Music, Fiddler on the Roof and Saturday Night Fever. It is currently the home of Wicked, a musical about the witches of The Wizard of Oz. The multiple award-winning Broadway production is considered to be one of the most successful musicals in history. It opened at the Apollo Victoria Theatre in 2006 and more than ten million visitors have seen it since.

The Apollo Victoria Theatre has a seated capacity of 2,328, with about a thousand of those located in the Dress Circle and the others in the Stalls. The theatre also has bars where ticket holders can purchase specialty cocktails, wines, beers, popcorn and ice cream. You can also pre-order drinks and snacks online and have them served at your seat.
