I could excuse the mediocre, overpriced burgers that tasted like they had been microwaved along with the what we were sure to be watered down cocktails. What we couldn’t ignore was what I found on the bottom of my bag that had been sitting on the floor under the table. I brought my bag onto the table to get something out of it and we found large droppings on it! These were clearly rat or mouse droppings- given the size, we thought rat. I used my torch to look under the table and could see droppings along the edge of the wall. I went into the toilet and threw up! This place is style over substance, it’s dirty, and the food is overpriced and bland. We left as quickly as we could and will be reporting to health & safety. There are amazing restaurants in this part of London, I think the owners are trading off of the location. I’ve never in 15 years of living in this area been so disgusted with the cleanliness of a restaurant and after having read some of the other reviews, it’s clearly not only me and my partner who thought the drinks were watered down and the food is really poor quality. We hadn’t been anywhere else prior to this so the droppings on my bag were not brought in from elsewhere. Really horrible experience.
