The most authentic Swedish café in Gothenburg.
Gerd in Linné is an absolute gem. The carrot cake is spot on moist, flavorful, and topped with just the right amount of frosting. And the grilled cheese? Easily the best in the city.

The two brothers running the place are incredibly friendly and clearly passionate about what they do. I also really appreciate that they’ve set some limits on laptop use; the café is very popular, and it can get crowded during peak hours, so it’s great that they’re keeping the space welcoming and available for everyone.

Highly recommend stopping by if you’re in the area!

Gerd är ett riktigt trevligt ställe, personalen är topp! Lokalen och inredningen fräsch, uteplatserna är perfekta när solen tittar fram. Deras kaffe och frukost är toppen! Kan verkligen rekommendera äggmackan, allt bröd är från kampanilen så det är bra grejer.
