Sturehof is an institution. A classic French fish brasserie-type restaurant with a Swedish twist. So let’s not expect too much innovation. Go there for: the central location, the classic ambiance or dinner outside in the summer, Swedish classic dishes (like the cod backloin with shrimp!) or for the seafood platter, for lunch ask for the råbiff (the Swedish version of steak tartare) or the fish of the day and order more of the complimentary whipped lobster butter when you run out. Don’t go there for good value or expecting anything new (unless you are in Sweden for the first time!)
