Pros: big store with a large range of costumes and dresses. Cons: the owner are amateurs despite being very kind... my 5 friends witnessed and agreed the lady was certainly calm and kind but not able to help, guide or advise, just able to take whatever dress was under her nose and pass them on. That is at least the feeling we all had . The price: bloody expensive.. easy 10 000 to 25 000 sek for a second hand dress that has been obviously used a lot (the adjustments are not included in the price and since the owners do not know how to sew, make sure to add an extra cost of 1500 sek at the very least to get it done by another part).
I decided to wait. The wedding in my country with the white dress being 18 months away, I thought I could find better ... Instead I came back to buy a coloured dressed just for the administrative wedding here in Stockholm that was very soon. I bought a 4000 sek "cocktail" dress with very nice colour "made in china". I asked a friend who is a sewer to do the adjustments and she had a lot of challenges, according to her (and I could see it too afterwards) : the dress was...let's say "very poor quality with very poor finitions". In the hurry I bought a plastic ornement for the hair: 900 sek. I saw the exact same ones at a hair dresser in france who sold them for 15-20 euros...yeah..the margin must be biiiig ;)
You know what? For 7800 sek I got my costumed-made dress by am amazing sewer in Bromma who is very talented, guides very well, gives advises and is 50% less expensive than any other store in Stockholm. God bless that lady! I tried the dress yesterday for the first time and she does the adjustments and the dentelle us pure beauty thanks to her help. I honestly do not recommend wedding bell. Two of my friends were with me during the fitting and will not consider wedding bell. Hope this honest and straight forward review can help the owner to improve.
