I used to love the place Wienerkafeet that was there before. They had renovated it in early 1900 style and there were amazing cakes there. After a very costly renovation they have made it less nice than it was but the atmosphere remains the main reason to go there (and perhaps the location). The food is not nice and the service neither. Until I hear better reviews, I’m not going back.

The bar is what saves the place. The atmosphere there is charming even if the service isn’t amazing (mostly because it is understaffed). I was expecting more from lunch however. The portions are huge, which is great when you are hungry but really nothing special. You can find better, even in the centre, for the price of their daily special (179 kronor)

Jag har varit där flera gånger genom åren och aldrig varit vare sig besviken eller särskilt imponerad. Det är en gedigen brunch, lunch och middagsställe. Men häromdagen blev jag bjuden dit på middag och imI hade det jättebra. Jag tycker att det är värt 4 stjärnor eftersom det har uppnått och institutionell status. Jag blev direkt beroende av löjromchipsen. Tydligen har de också en "hemlig lista" över viner. Be om det.

Go there for fantastic classic cakes. In my opinion the chocolate cake is the best but the other ones are good too. The semlor are also very good.

Vid det här laget är Meno Male känt för sina pizzor med standardinställning. Jag önskar bara att jag hade råd att göra detta till min vanliga pizzarestaurang... För 190 kronor per pizza gör det fredagsmys till en dyr affär för en hel familj. Men det är definitivt värt det då och då. Kvaliteten på pizzorna såväl som ingredienserna är helt fantastiska.
